    2. Corporate Structure

      Tina Montgomery, President, is responsible for the implementation and management of the agreement and program.Tina has been in the promotional products industry over twenty years and manages corporate store and catalog programs.She has a strong background in accounting and finance, and is also skilled in computer programming and networking. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for our National Association, PPAI, and has been awarded two separate scholarships to continue her education in the Promotional Products arena. She also serves as Treasurer on the Rocky Mountain Regional Promotional Products Association. She has earned the status of Certified and Master Advertising Specialists.  There are only a handful of individuals in the Promotional Products industry who have earned the Certified and Master Advertising Specialist certification.

      Tina leads a staff of Executive and Administrative Assistants who have extensive experience with program implementation and development.They are involved in the process from start to finish and are very adept at all stages of program and inventory management.They have experience with website design, catalog layout and design, desktop publishing, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.When Tina is unavailable, questions or comments regarding the implementation and management of the program should be directed to her Executive Assistant, Linda Neville.

      The day-to-day order processing will be done by our Order Processing Supervisor, Beth Attebery.Beth has been with the Barrett Company since 1992 and holds a degree in Marketing. During her employment at the Barrett Company, Beth has worked in the accounting and order processing departments prior to her advancement to Order Processing Supervisor. The Order Processing and Sales Assistant staff will serve as a back up to Beth.

      The accounting functions will be processed by our Accounting Supervisor, Nancy Edwards.Nancy has been with the Barrett Company since 1987 and has handled all stages of the accounting functions.

      The warehouse manager, will perform warehousing and fulfillment functions.He is skilled in all stages of warehouse management and shipping.

    3. Financial Information

      L. W. Barrett Co., Inc. is a privately held corporation.The corporation is owned equally by John Barrett, and Tina Montgomery.

    4. Business Strategy

      The L. W. Barrett Company has been in the promotional products industry since 1953. Our top executive currently serves on The Board of Directors and has served on several committees including PPAI.The committees served include Technology, Distributor, Professional Development and Promotional Products Association International (PPAI).

      We understand the importance of providing quality merchandise, reasonable prices and outstanding customer service.Our suppliers are all paid within their term, which entitles us to obtain special pricing that is not available to our competitors nor those that do not maintain impeccable payment history.We have the capital to finance our business endeavors, provide you with fulfillment opportunities and net 30-day terms.Your prices are based on our total volume buying power and not on the individual dollar volume anticipated from your program.

  2. Product Offering

    1. Traditional Promotional Merchandise:

      L. W. Barrett Co., Inc. has been in the promotional products industry for over 50 years and has access to all franchised lines including Cutter & Buck, Cross Pens, Ashworth, Gear for Sports and many product lines not typically available through other Promotional Product Companies.

    2. Internet Website:

      L. W. Barrett Co., Inc. has the ability to provide and maintain an Internet website capable of accepting and processing orders from employees and customers.

      1. Internal Website:

        L. W. Barrett Co., Inc. can provide an internal website with the ability to process orders online, the ability to purchase items directly from the physical company store and the ability to view specialty items on promotional collateral and the ability to custom order items on request or as-needed basis. Payment will be supported as follows: (a) Employee's personal check, (b) major credit card with secure processing through Verisign, (c) Company purchase order and (d) consolidated monthly invoicing for department cost centers provided at time of order. In the event that purchases are authorized without a corporate purchase order, L. W. Barrett Co., Inc. will need a list of employees that are authorized to purchase without a purchase order.

      2. External Website:

        When requested, L. W. Barrett Co., Inc. will provide a separate website with the ability to process orders online.Payment will be supported by major credit card with secure processing through CyberCash.

      3. Product Research:

        L. W. Barrett Co., Inc. can provide a website with the ability to research and process orders on-line for Promotional Products that are not offered in the Employee Store.   The website will hold the Corporate logos so employees and departments will have the ability to select the color options according to the Corporate Logo Guidelines. Payment will be supported by (a) employee's personal check, (b) major credit card with processing through Verisign, (c) Corporate purchase order and (d) consolidated monthly invoicing for department cost centers provided at time of order.

    3. Warehousing Facility

      1. Physical Warehouse:

        L. W. Barrett Co., Inc. maintains a 16,000 square foot warehouse/office facility that is centrally located in Denver, Colorado.The warehouse is staffed with personnel that are adept at all stages of order fulfillment and shipping.State of the art computer equipment is maintained to ensure that orders are shipped and delivered as requested.Orders for in-stock merchandise are shipped within one business day of receipt of order, and oftentimes, the same day.L. W. Barrett Co., Inc. will provide all labor, materials, supplies, equipment and other facilities to fulfill orders of promotional items.L. W. Barrett Co will maintain the agreed-upon supply of the agreed-upon items for purchase by our client's employees and customers.

      2. Site Inspection

        We welcome you to visit our warehouse/fulfillment center in Denver, Colorado.

    4. Marketing Collateral Materials:

      L. W. Barrett Co., Inc. is adept at designing and sourcing marketing collateral materials.The most recent versions of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign in both Mac and PC format, are maintained on our computers at all times and we employ full-time staff to facilitate design projects.We work with a print broker that is responsible for sourcing cost containing and efficient print sources.Our experience has shown that it is more advantageous to print at a location that is closer to the paper mills, thus the majority of print jobs are done to minimize expenditures.

      In addition to designing and sourcing marketing collateral materials, we have the latest versions of software and trained employees that enable us to process bulk mailing should your program require mass mailings.We regularly process bulk mail of various sizes and shapes.

  3. Reporting, Billing and Payment

    1. Billing Process

      All invoices are generated from our Denver headquarters.Invoices for merchandise shipped from our warehouse are generated within 24 hour of shipment.Under normal circumstances, invoices for merchandise shipped from other locations are generated within one week of shipment.Orders for individual employees will be billed to credit cards as the merchandise is shipped.Orders billed to the Corporation will be billed with terms of net 30 days.

      Invoices detail the bill to and ship to information, invoice date, ship date, method of shipment, item number, description and size of merchandise shipped, quantity shipped, unit price, extended price, applicable sales and use taxes, shipping, insurance and handling charges.Additional information, including departmentalized detail and reporting, cost center or project detail can be added.Our in house staff has the ability to custom write software and reports to generate the information that you need on your invoices and reports.

    2. Credit Procedure and Policy on Return or Disposal of Damaged Merchandise

      Merchandise is guaranteed to be free from defect.Merchandise that does not meet our quality standards will be either destroyed or held in our warehouse facility until it is donated to a non-profit organization.

    3. Usage Reports

      We take great pride in our reporting capabilities and custom write reports for our current clients.If you require a report that is not currently available, we will custom write one to meet your needs.Reporting will include monthly and YTD sales, inventory and other reports as requested by clients. 

  4. Product Pricing

    1. You will be provided with a complete listing of pricing on the merchandise included in your program.

    2. Shipping/Delivery Charges

      The pricing will be provided FOB Denver or FOB Client's office.Shipping charges from our Denver warehouse to your individual employees or locations will be charged according to the same payment support method as outlined in section 2.Our standard shipment method is via Federal Express Ground and we are on a discounted freight program that will be passed on to your individual locations or employees.We are adept at third party billing on shipping and consignee freight billing.

    3. Financial Incentives
      1. The L. W. Barrett Company has an efficient method of operation and looks for methods to eliminate or reduce costs on a regular basis.

      2. In an effort to keep costs at a minimum, yet offer current fashion trends, when applicable, clients will be offered the option of purchasing fashion lines from such lines as Cutter & Buck, Ashworth and Gear for Sports.The fashion lines (close-outs) are overstock merchandise that is offered to retail stores for the upcoming season.The cost savings can be significant and youremployees will have the ability to purchase fashion lines that are currently sold at upscale retail stores.

      3. Upon acceptance of our proposal, L. W. Barrett Co., Inc. will enter into an agreement with our client for the purpose of stocking and fulfilling the client'slogoed merchandise.Several inventory ownership plans are available to minimize cost or maximize cash flow.

  5. Implementation Plan

    1. L. W. Barrett Co., Inc. will need a minimum of 60 - 90 days to fully implement the employee store program, which will include coordinating with the appropriate client personnel for product selection and procurement; web-site development, design, hosting and on-line ordering capabilities, and order fulfillment.

      We are accustomed to working within the written logo guidelines of many organizations and adhere to their strictest logo reproduction requirements.In the event that a request is made for alterations to the logo or additional text added to the logo, we will consult the written guidelines and work within the constraints of them.

    2. L. W. Barrett Co., Inc. will meet with clients on an as need basis, to review sales and merchandise, provide industry trends and recommendations of special promotions and item selection.On an ongoing basis, L. W. Barrett Co. will recommend and provide the option to leverage volume discounts and closeout merchandise when appropriate.
